Outdoor vs Indoor Tourism: Establish a Safe balance!

Choose wisely between being outside all the time and giving yourself some time to relax. Both of these are part of enjoying your trips.

It doesn’t matter where you go really. Whether it’s a destination full of things you can do or a relaxed place to meditate, what’s important is the fun you have on the trip. Escaping from your usual comfort to try new things is something everyone should do, but it requires some responsibility and organization. Also, it’s important to develop a balance of what you’re planning to do. Outdoor and indoor are both sides of the same coin, and if you read along, you’ll see why.

Indoors

Upon arrival, there’s much to do, after grabbing your luggage you set off to explore. Sadly, as you reach outside, it starts to rain heavily. At this moment you’ll probably feel stressed: you had a plan and lot of stuff to do; sadly, the rain just ruined it all. But it isn’t entirely accurate.
Libraries, art museums, cafés and even your hotel room are wise choices to enjoy if outdoors are not available at the moment or you’re just looking for relaxation. Don’t feel judged or guilty for enjoying calmness while traveling; it’s your trip, and you get to choose how to enjoy it:

Libraries

Grab an attractive book and take advantage of this time to read for a while and relax. If you’re in the company, you could chat and rearrange your schedule in this calm environment.

Cafés

What’s more relaxing than a cup of coffee? If you find it appealing, get to the nearest coffee shop and ask for the coffee of your liking. Enjoy indoor music as you taste your black beverage whether you’re in good company or by yourself.

Art museums

Museums are the standard traveler’s choice without a doubt. For art lovers and aficionados, art inherently draws attention and interest. You can freely walk along the many exhibits and find out what’s the history behind each piece or art.

Hotel room

Why not take a rest for a while? There isn't something more comfortable than the intimacy of being all alone. Get a hot shower, put on your favorite music and just relax.

Outdoors

Are you bored of being all day locked up inside buildings? All you need is to set off and start enjoying what’s out there waiting for you. Remember to ask your travel advisor about the possible activities you can enjoy while being outside.
Indoor is a safe choice for travelers at first, but you shouldn’t be entirely reliant on it. Be adventurous while traveling! As long as you're careful, it won’t do you bad at all. Here are some ideas you could take:

Parks

Taking a walk around the park is a good chance to grab some fresh air and make physical activities. It would be wise to disconnect from your mp3 players and your smart phone for a while, connect with your surroundings and enjoy the sounds of nature.

Camping

There’s no better way to find inner peace than doing some camping. If you travel with a group, then this is it’s a great chance to engage and get close to each other socially. You don’t have to get that further into the forest to enjoy calmness, so if you’re not that experienced, set your camping close to the exit of the area.

Walk around

Have you watch those dance mobs and want to do the same? Did you see a live violinist playing outside the metro station? Don’t feel discouraged and engage with outdoor activities! It can diminish stress to do so. You can also observe shows and activities of others and record them, these are a fun experience itself.
Both indoor and outdoor have their positive traits. Don’t stay all day outside or you’ll have no energies, but avoid resting and reading all day as well. It’s healthy to create a balance (that fits your interests) for every trip you plan: it will let you discover more about the place you’re visiting and yourself in the process.

Liverpool: The World in One City

Because of its cultural and architectural value, the city was nominated as the capital of culture, along Stavanger and Norway.

Perhaps you have heard one or two songs by
The Beatles, and you’re aware of their impact in music. But they didn’t just change music; they also contributed in the tourism of a city called Liverpool. Now, we’re not here to talk about The Beatles (maybe just a little); the tourism in Liverpool is going to be our most important topic today.
What’s so special about this city, then? First of all, the astounding amount of places and activities you can do. You can visit the many restaurants of the gastronomic scene. There’s the possibility to enjoy the nightlife this city features, and you can also marvel with the cultural side of Liverpool that includes museums and art galleries (curiously, Liverpool has more museums and galleries than the rest of UK cities outside the capital).
Are you into festivals this summer? The Pier Head Village is the option you should try! The celebration takes place between 30 July – 10 September, with bars, great places to eat, thrilling rides and more. On the other hand, if you’re more of a calm tourist who hates being surrounded by people, you could just get a tour guide to help you out with choosing some relaxing spots in the city.
We reach the point where I am obligated to mention The Beatles, after all, it was thanks to them the city grew so much as a touristic landmark. The Cavern Club is the place where it all began: this was the very starting point of The Beatles’ musical identity. Whether you’re a fan or not, you should know that there’s an event called Beatleweek, an International Festival that celebrates the music of this band. There are only 40 days left for this festival, make sure you don’t miss it!
What are you waiting for? Start packing your things and sail off to the experience of a lifetime! Liverpool isn’t called the “World in One City” for no reason, and you’ll see why the moment you arrive there. Save your money and make every part of your trip worth the while, all with the help of Cruise Planners – Jason Hantman. They have the experience in planning trips and giving the best advice for your travels! Contact them as soon as possible.
Make sure you don't miss the chance to enjoy the Beatleweek.
